The Hague

Day 2 of our citytrip weekend took us to The Hague. The political capital of the Netherlands.
We went to the Mauritshuis-museum to see the “Girl with the Pearl” by Johannes Vermeer.

Johannes Vermeer lived and worked in Delft in the 17th century. And the girl with the pearl can be seen everywhere you look in Delft.
We wanted to see the original.

We also saw other famous paintings including several by Rembrandt.
