Tulip (Day 3577)

I headed to town this morning to sort out a dripping overflow. I was really glad to find that access to the tank in the loft didn't require a ladder or contorting myself into a very small space. It is probably the easiest float valve change I have done in a long time.
With that out of the way I stopped off at the merchants to pick up some more stock, then headed home.
With a bit of time to kill I got on with something I have been meaning to start for a while, building new hay crates out of old pallets. Every time I collect a load of pellets for the boiler I get another pallet and I have been thinking about a way to build a hay crate for a while. Surprisingly, the plan in my head seems to be working reasonably well and my beautiful wife will soon have a few more hay crates to replace the ones which are showing their age.
After lunch and taking Sigyn for a wander, I popped in to see Mum to sort a drippy tap and to have a catch up, then collected a key for a house I will be working in on Wednesday.
