Giddy

Day off work today, random bank holiday (a different one from everyone else), so took the opportunity to catch a fringe show, a play called Islanders (featuring former Art Brut frontman Eddie Argos). Thoroughly enjoyable it was too, especially if you like your indie-pop twee and whimsical (is there any other kind?). Having said that Tracey thought it was great as well and she's never even heard of Scarfo, let alone Dweeb! The part of the story centred around mix tapes had a great line in it about a mix tape filled only with this song.

Picked up the boy from nursery afterwards, he'd had a settling in day in the pre-school room and was giddy with the excitement of it all. He's desperate to be a bigger boy and this is the next rung on the, very long, ladder.
