Oven gloves

After work, we had another mammoth cooking session. Although we had leftovers from yesterday, I cooked a parsnip and sweet potato tagine. Again, we will have leftovers to get us through the days when we are both working for our offices and get home later. I don’t have anything like an actual tagine pot, so it was a foil-covered casserole dish.

The picture of the oven gloves was appropriate. I don’t recall where these came from, but they are getting a bit warm and occasionally, the heat from the oven dishes is too much. But I like them better than most other oven gloves as I don’t feel they are about to fall off while I’m holding something hot.
