Since completing the Lagun table, flip top C table piece and the kitchen shelf for remodel in the van. It was time to move on to the major project… the countertop. This was no easy task. Our Van kitchen packs in a lot of amenities in a small space.

Bj was able to contort himself into the cabinet area to remove the stovetop, tower of power, and the sink before painstaking removing about 2 dozen screws and staples holding this thing down.

We needed to remove it in one piece as this will now serve as our template for the new countertop. I’m excited that this next project is solidly underway. Step one was a scary and difficult process. That’s complete and now we get to create the beautification part.
