Mount Carmel

The Discalced Carmelite Nuns of the Carmel of Port Tobacco are an historic community here in Charles County. Their grounds are a peaceful place to visit, especially in the evening. 
This statue was pretty in the evening light. The engraving uses language that is common for this part of Maryland, which I found to be charming.
