We had a good drive home from Bedfordshire today but the weather was wet and windy most of the way back making for difficult driving conditions at times. When we got back, we found our patio table upside down on the back lawn. It must have been very windy as it had lifted the table (presumably by the cover turning into a parachute)  up above the wall next to our patio and over the roses without breaking any of them. Remarkably the glass table top hadn’t broken either and we have lifted it back down again with plans to secure it in place with a hook and chain.
The hellebores in our garden are still doing well too with more having opened up in the few  days that we have been away.
