Sparrowhawk

After a trip to Costco we came back and Jen was wondering what fluffy thing was sitting at the back of our garden. On closer inspection it was a sparrowhawk (I thought a kestrel at first but a neighbour correctly identified it). I tried a picture from the house but couldn’t get a decent one. Dared to sneak into the garden. Got a bit closer but then pushed it a bit too far and it flew away.

Hopefully we’ll see it again one day.
