Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A man after midnight)

I know this blip features one of the people who was in my blip for yesterday, but I had such a good time on Saturday night!

Alan Cumming played Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A man after midnight) twice at the disco that he hosted on Saturday night at Pitlochry theatre. Here he is at five minutes past midnight today (Sunday morning) dancing to the last track of the evening. This was I'm gonna be (500 miles), also spun for a second time. Mr hazelh took this photo. I love it for two reasons: (1) the portrait of our host captures his unstoppable energy; (2) I feature in it on the right hand side, reflected in the window behind Alan Cumming.

After a delicious bacon sandwich for breakfast, Mr hazelh and I sped south from Winsford's house to reach home in good time to start on the serious business of preparing the feast for my book group meeting tomorrow. As well as making two first courses, two main courses, a 'lead veg' dish to go with the main courses, and one pudding, we also brewed soup (leek and broccoli), and made fresh tomato sauce to go with our pasta for supper tonight.

I took a couple of breaks from cooking to help my sister-in-law proof read her wedding invitations, and to chat on the phone to my not-so-little sister in Newcastle.

Tomorrow I will be allowed to return to the swimming pool. I cannot wait to get in the water again.

Exercise today: small amount of walking (~7k steps).
