Missing the last piece

This weekend was the last races of the Newnham Bark series, and I had booked Dina and I in to race the 4km race on Saturday and the 6.5 km race on Sunday. Unfortunately this flu like cold I have meant despite all my efforts I wasn't up to running let alone racing either day.
Such a pity as Dina and I were equal first overall in the 4km race after 3 events.
Enough being miserable, the dogs had a lovely walk in a wet and windy wood and have spent the afternoon snoozing with me on the sofa
