Whitby

A stormy day. We drove over the moors to Whitby with most people going the other way. It was wild and bleak over the tops, and Whitby was deserted. We went into both the Captain Cook Museum and the Whitby Museum. We haven't been in there since the boys were small, so many moons ago. Both were really interesting with the Whitby museum stuffed full of cabinets overflowing with artefacts and curiosities from around the world. A delightful way to spend a wet and windy Sunday and making full use of our Art Pass!
