Something of a full-on day today, a cross between ‘Wind in the Willows’ and ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’. Still catching up (and will be for quite some time) on processing, backing up and sorting out twenty-five years of business photography for a couple of hours then headed off to meet a Badger to discuss genetics testing. Afterwards called in to builder’s merchants – doors still out of stock, not expected until early March. Then an hour and a half drive to meet E to get some progress photos of the work on the Cider Barn. Had a very helpful introduction from the carpenter and plasterer to explain what was going on, then they left me to get on with the photos - including some interiors which I wasn’t expecting today. Today’s blip is the lean-to, which reminded me of Eeyore’s house (almost falling down). Fortunately no floods on the roads today so return journey was straightforward, but quite a long day overall.
