Through a glass darkly
Four and a half hour drive today through Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Strong winds but no rain until we got home. I haven't taken a photo today so here is one of my favourite photos from Trerice yesterday. I love the glimpse of the big Chinese ginger jar through the Great Hall window with its 16th and 17th century glass.
(simisue - I love the lead repairs to the glass that was so precious in its day. It's the same principle as the kintsugi technique of repairing broken pottery with gold).
