Feather

Managed to motivate myself to go for a run this morning. The temperature was perfect for me. Did 7 km and enjoyed being out in the fresh air. Had a quick shower and some breakfast and then jumped on my bike to take part in a photography walk at a local nature reserve. 
We stopped at various points on the reserve - snowdrops, aconites, catkins, water, lake, heron's nest, owl box (sadly empty this morning) and lots of old trees and new shoots. There was an old earth star but it was a bit past its best as a photo opportunity. I think this is my favourite of the many photos I took. 
The timing of the walk was perfect. It started to rain on my cycle home. My handlebar mirror fell off on the way home which is a bit annoying. I had to back track and retrieve it from the railway bridge. I've got used to being able to see what's behind me without turning round.
