New Walk
This walk is normally very short as the track in the forest runs out early. Peering onwards into the dense forest was a bit intimidating because you encounter wind blown trees quite quickly. Archie and I chose to give it a try today. With care much of the windblow could be avoided and there are a couple of wee clearings before emerging to open hillside, at which point you immediately regain your bearings. Continuing to ascend there is a very wee compound with communications dishes at the top of the hill. (You can actually see it in the geotag if you switch to satellite view) I think it may be connected to the small telephone exchange building below on the A86 roadside. Looking east you see Tulloch Station on the West Highland Line. Archie loves a new adventure.
