Venus in the west

Today has been both busy and emotional. I attended a very enjoyable Linus quilt workshop this morning where I was presented with a [ initially] rather challenging task. Taking 48 squares and creating 12 'Disappearing 4 patch' blocks. I managed 5 in the 2.5 hours so still got a few to do.
Then this afternoon we went with H to see the new Bridget Jones. I loved it ...it's both funny and at the same time thought provoking and emotional covering grief, loss and moving on from differing points of view. As we reach the 9 month mark since Mum's loss I freely admit to spending a bit of the film with tears running down my face.
Came home from that to the news on Blip about Nanna K. I met her and H several years ago here in Edinburgh when they were over. Such lovely people and following this last journey of hers with her has been a privilage. Like LaineyLou3 3340119388270365137  this evening was a time to look up.
