In the pink

Took my camera with me today and took a picture of this flower at my mother-in-law's after taking the dog for a walk before I started work. The work week ended with a new interface working perfectly on my first try and I did some documentation and was nearly finished for the day when a production issue came in on another system. It wasn't really my area but I was able to at least document the problem and replicate the data into the test system when the person who knows what's going on will be able to look at it on Monday.

After work the dog had a nice walk around the hippodrome, so he was pretty happy with his week. He isn't interested in flowers - though he does sometimes sniff them before he pees on them....!

After lunch I was nearly run over by an idiot in a Merc who things pedestrians don't exist - while there are plenty of idiots on the road here in France, in general the Breton ones are a bit more polite and less aggressive than those in the bigger cities such as Paris. This moron wasn't even in a giant SUV and couldn't even claim the "I can't see anything - so it's not my fault" that most seem to use when they drive over something... I was nearly run over by someone in a Swasticar (Tesla) backing out of their drive without paying attention, but at least they stopped rather than carrying on.
