Reflections

Today was forecast as being sunny.  My husband was out on a bike ride with his friends after they swopped dates with yesterday.  I decided to visit Bystock Pools fairly early in the morning.  It was very quiet and peaceful with little breeze and the sun lighting up parts of the main pond.  I enjoyed a walk around the nature reserve which was pretty wet after all the rain we have had.  Not much was spotted in wildlife other than a very large amount of frogspawn.

Back home a managed some weeding of the grass on the allotment plot sheltering for a few minutes from the rain.  I picked up my husband late in the afternoon.  They had a good ride with great weather but unfortunately missed out on the planned pub lunch as one of them had a puncture and they arrived too late for the pub.  They did however  manage to eat some food at the teashop later in the afternoon.
