Friday…. Homeward Bound

After breakfast we set off for home. An accident on the M4 made us take a detour but still a 3.5 hour journey, same as the outgoing journey.

Tinks, our three legged, 17 year old cat is not too great at the moment.  She was sick a few weeks ago which was a bit random but seemed to recover.  Earlier this week Mr C caught her up on the kitchen side sniffing around food so shouted at her to get down.  In her panicked state we think she landed funny and has strained her good back leg making standing and walking a bit tricky.  Lucy took her to the vets yesterday and they gave her some pain relief but did say she has lost weight.  In the evening both Mr C and Lucy were out.  I coaxed Tinks out for some food which she ate and went to her bed in the kitchen.  I realised later that she had done a massive wee in it.  Bless her.  We will just try and encourage her to eat and make her as comfortable as possible.
