Pleach

The sun shone and the gales had abated so ideal for a walk along the coast near Aberlady watching the sea alternate between shades of grey, blue and green topped with white waves.  The tide was going out so it was convenient to look for golf balls which had gone way out of bounds over the small cliffs or landed among the rocks or on the beach. Our haul was 13 and S can be seen retrieving a yellow one from near the water.  Very few balls are ever found on the sandy beach which is littered with millions of shells although we did find 4 today.
Thanks for the concerns yesterday about the relatives. Unfortunately being many hours drive away, there is nothing we can do to help especially with N who has two very young children who hope their mother will soon be back home after a week undergoing tests in hospital
