Strange doings

On our walk today we came across a large hole dug in the sand filled with several pairs of boots and a pair of waders there were other things in there as well but we decided to get the dog and ourselves away from it. This beach only has access by boat or crossing private property. I found it very odd. I thought it might pass for a Silly Saturday blip but I can tell you it did not pass the smell test for me.
