Chirping on the Chapel
São Sebastião chapel seen from the Lula walk, taken at dusk. Which seems to be the earliest we can get out for a walk these days. Still clearing up and sorting, and not done yet. Only so many decisions I can make in a day.
The sun came out, so decided to wash the bedding, at which point it started to rain, and repeating throughout the day. So hot early on that I was painting the gate posts in shorts and sleeveless t-shirt; but have also worn coat and scarf, and had the wood burner lit.
Gratefuls:
- the first two jasmine flowers, magical how the white flowers burst out of bright red buds
- a perfect V of cranes calling overhead, and a stork doing ballet high up, its white wings catching the light
- Mike going to the market for us
