Thinking day

It was Thinking Day for the Brownies today.  So B and I went to an event put on by the district where they did some cute crafts.  (eldest wanted a day a home so stayed with John).  I haven't been before but it's a day to celebrate the guiding movement and to think of all the other Brownies across the globe.  The theme was the other districts in the UK.  The girls made a Wassail for Somerset, a cow for Jersey and a Caterpillar for Dorset (extra).  I can't remember what Caterpillars had to do with Dorset though.  Anyway it was a nice way to spend an afternoon and the girls were really well behaved.  

Went for an evening walk with my sister around the lake and then we watched a film together.
