We found snow…!

A journey up into the mountains and we found snow, which meant our sleigh ride could happen as a sleigh ride and not as a horse and cart ride. It was so beautiful and so silent, just our voices and the bells on the horses’ harnesses.

We ‘journeyed through the forested landscape of the Bregenzerwald to Shoppernau.’ While waiting for our turn, we walked around the village, appreciating the wooden houses and watching folk ski walking. It really is very beautiful here!

It is also warmer than at home! 14 degrees in Feldkirch, going down to 4 in Shoppenau.
