Sun

I was looking after the grandkids for a while this morning and didn't have time to do parkrun, but I did manage a short run before I had to leave.
The sun was still shining when I got to Carnoustie so we went for a walk to look for flowers, birds etc and saw a good variety (and 16 dogs!).
We bought pies for lunch on the way home and after they were heated and eaten d-i-law had returned from work.
Later the sun was still shining so we had to go out again and this time went down to the beach where they amused themselves digging, collecting stones and generally having a good time.
I was given my tea but returned home soon after, a very pleasant day and they all behaved for me.
We even had a rainbow but missed the rain. (extra)
