Iris...

The day started grey and damp, but has ended with some lovely blue skies! And that lured me back in the garden to potter and do some jobs that weren't even on my radar this  morning!  Glad i've done them now though, and it was also nice to see these Iris start to bloom!  I never do well overwintering Iris, so these were new bulbs I planted in the Autumn... maybe I'll have better luck keeping these ones 'alive'!

An afternoon of flicking between various sport channels this afternoon - tennis, football, cricket and rugby - it's an exhausting task!!
