Spruce Chips

We could smell the fresh spruce chips from half a block away, so we had to go see, and got there just as Patty pulled into her driveway, across the street from the pile. She and Bonnie had fresh pedicures, hence the flip-flops. Bonnie has the red toes.
Bonnie and Bill’s big spruce tree was threatening to fall, so they had it taken out. Now they have a gaping hole in the landscape, and we have our wheelbarrow ready to haul some chips. Not exactly sure what we’ll do with them, but they’re irresistible and just half a block away.
