Battery Charging

Every four months or so, an indoor security camera sends a message to my iPhone requesting that its battery should be recharged.

Today’s entry shows the battery being charged using a USB port on my second and older MacPro. This is now some 15 years old and is working.

The advantage of the MacPro is that virtually every component can be replaced by the user and also upgraded. There are four disc drives in this one, but all are SSD rather than the mechanical hard drives of yore.

Today is wet and miserable outside but there are promises of warmer and drier weather to come. I should hope so as the month of March draws near.
