No kangaroos here now

We travelled by City Cat ferry through the Brisbane CBD today, where I photographed the new Kangaroo Point Bridge. It's described as an elegant single-mast cable stay structure, designed to complement the city skyline and minimise visual impact. It spans the Brisbane River from the city to Kangaroo Point. I imagine there were once lots of kangaroos in Kangaroo Point, but those days are long gone.
