La vie en Rose

Someone broke the stem of this rose and left it laying on the ground to die. It is still a thing of beauty but if moved to a vase at this point would simply droop and die. I am marking its passing with a blip. When it has no life left I will put it in my composter and it will nourish something in the future. I just edited this and found that I was going to put the dead rose in my composer. I corrected it but found the original version funnier so I am sharing.
