Pruning Again

This pear tree is not going to prune itself, so I was back on the ladder today, pruners and pole clipper in hand. Of our six fruit trees, this one is the most difficult. It’s about 15 feet tall, and trimming the shoots off the top is a killer. If I had a lift, I could finish in two hours or less. Alas, I don’t, so it’s back on the ladder.
