Up above the streets & houses...
During the late-late afternoon when two of the party were taking turns with the bath, the third boarded her bike and went for a little Bimble around the Great Orme.
We began by climbing up the middle alongside the cable driven tramway all the way to the summit station carpark. Here happened what is a common occurrence with Biscuit...she gets a lot of love from people of Indian heritage....I kicked down the side stand and stepped to one side as a happy family took a photo of her from their car :-)
It was hella gusty on top and the ridge back down was a hairy one, turning left to St.Tudnos Church and pausing again to take a snap of the bike with a rainbow behind, it's pot of gold somewhere off Colwyn Bay.
From there we followed the coast in an anticlockwise direction, the wind again becoming a problem from the northernmost tip all the way around the westernmost side as a familiar bridge & castle came into view across Conwy Sands, and why not head over in that direction too? So we did, turning around at the harbour to pause for 5 minutes before riding back to the hotel as the weather was starting to drizzle a little.
In the early evening we all strolled over to the Pier which was found to be mostly closed for out of season repairs. Ice Creams were procured though before spending a few hours listening to some classic songs payed tribute to & occasionally murdered in the hotel bar ;-D
Home tomozz...nice train ride for some, pop-pop-bang-pop for another...neither a bad way to do the journey but am pretty lucked out my way if the sun shines as forecast!
