Shadow Plants

It was a lovely day here - the weather was glorious, no need to be zipped up in my jacket.

Work, on the other hand, was just a crock of very unpleasant things.  They are introducing what is called "The Blue Culture".  This manifests itself in blaming people at the bottom and ignoring any negative feedback - really, just another ill-thought out management idea that absolves management of introducing crap ideas.

It's not exactly motivating as a concept but it has enthused a lot of managers and as we know they're the ones who know about roughly nothing but they get the big bonuses for coming up with sh!t ideas.

Talking with the 2 other members of my team today, they are also somewhat disenchanted.  1 will retire in Dezember and the other is seriously thinking of doing the same.  That would leave me in charge of 3 different jobs and not a chance in hell of getting any support - not quite as motivating as you think.
