I had a trip to Leicester this afternoon to plan a study trip next week with colleagues from the West Mids to show them how walking and cycling infrastructure is properly done!

This caught my eye as I sneaked through from Welford Road to Aylestone Road. 

Off to Calke Abbey tomorrow with the parents to see the snowdrops and have some lunch. Dad needs a bit of cheering up, his eldest brother died on Wednesday aged 86. Dad is five years behind and the third eldest. He's one of eight, seven were left after one sibling died in her mid-twenties, so Uncle David going is the first of the long lived.
