Tulips

I was rushing around this morning doing some chores, laundry etc. and then walked Xena before dropping Gavin at the station for him to go to London for his surgery today. I had no time for coffee as I had to go to physio. My wrist is still inflamed so I had more laser and ultrasound treatment on it plus I have been given more physio 'toys' to help strengthen my wrist. We also work on my back in terms of posture when sitting and strengthening core muscles.

Trying to post that returned order back to Hong Kong took up my afternoon. I firstly went to our local post office, but it is out of order as their postal printer is broken and they are waiting for th engineer to come fix it. I then drove to the next village where there was a very long queue in that post office - when I got to the front of the queue the staff member explained what I had to do and how much it would cost to return it (£15), so I stepped out the queue to fill in the customs form and then had to queue again - but finally it has been posted and I am feeling very annoyed by the whole experience. Since Brexit it is not always clear when you are dealing with a UK company or not - the website has a dot uk address but the company has moved abroad and when you come to return an item you get caught in the customs paperwork which is a real pain.

Gavin is still at the hospital in London, I have spoken to him and he said he feels fine although he sounds very sleepy from the general anaesthetic. He will hopefully be discharged in the next hour.

I had another walk with Xena in a light rain, now I must make supper. Today has been much milder which has been lovely, temps of 15C.

Gavin bought me these tulips and they look so pretty I thought they would do for Flower Friday.
