Trees on the cliff

It may be that these trees will not be there in a few years time which is a shame as I often look up at them. Last year there was a rockfall onto the road and the council did some work to try to prevent the same thing happening again. Lots of the mountainside roads are netted at the side in places in an attempt to prevent accidents. I made a Victoria sponge cake first thing in the morning as we are hosting a get together next weekend. Some friends who arrived from the UK a couple of days ago came round for tea and a chat later in the morning. I had a good session at the tennis practice in the afternoon. I will be preparing for a language exchange chat later with is a student who is doing his Masters at the Science Po university in Paris. We generally exchange twice a week and chat for half an hour in French and half an hour in English.
