Coneflower

I think this is a coneflower (or Echinacea) - unless someone knows better.

I do know that it was in the National Trust garden at Greys Court, and that we were very fortunate to get a walk there between the torrential showers.

UPDATE: Expert advice (my mum!) suggests that this is probably a Helenium.
