Living Wall

I spent a very pleasant morning visiting a client and then going to see my upholsterer. On the way back I popped into Waitrose to get some lunch and for once took the time to look at the living wall they have installed on the front of the new store in Bracknell.

I kept meaning to look at it but am usually in a rush. Today, needing a photo for my journal, I had a very good reason to finally go and take a look at it. I was amazed at the variety and size of plants that seem to be growing very successfully and I now plan to take a walk past it whenever I am there (which is quite often !) to see the changes through the seasons. And so I can see that if I was not taking a photograph every day I would perhaps never have made the time to make the detour and be amazed...
