A day at the mart……

An early start to get everything fed before the lorry arrived in to collect the 33 blks for today’s sale.
I finished up then loaded my 2 border terrorist co pilots into the Landrover and headed down the road. A slow drive as various sets of road works on the A68 and one set of lights stuck on red.
The blks behaved quite well in the ring ( always a bonus ) and sold quite well too. My top pen made £1990. It’s a big start for the boys that are buying them, but as long as the fat price stays where it is they should leave a profit for them.
Treated myself to steak pie and chips in the canteen before heading back up the road. Still wet and very windy , but very mild now. Will need to keep a close eye on the calves in case the pneumonia kicks off now.
