I really regret not buying packs of the beautifully decorated paper available in Japan - though I’m quite sure I can get hold of some here. Primarily used for origami, an example of which forms today’s blip.

Every evening, turn-down service in Tokyo’s Okura saw an origami figure left on our pillows, two of which made it home with us. I’m unsure what exactly this is - and understandably it’s relatively basic in terms of the complexity of origami considering the number of rooms in the hotel! I like to think of it as a turtle, but it could equally be a cockroach!

Taking inspiration from Ingeborg’s theme for today, though I don’t really consider it to be ‘abstract’!
