More fungus

Trametes gibbosa, the lumpy bracket, I think. (Open to correction as ever). Or is it a turkey tail? 


I've turned my comments back on because I was missing the chat with other Blippers. I said yesterday that I'd be away for a mini break today. Not happening. Last night in popped a message from CalMac cancelling our lunchtime crossing to the Isle of Arran. It's the weather, not the boat. I was looking forward to the new MV Glen Sannox but apparently it's too windy. 

For a number of reasons I was eagerly anticipating this wee trip. It's disappointing not to be going to Arran but when you think about what's going in in the world it's the tiniest inconvenience.  And we have found somewhere else for a couple of nights from tomorrow which doesn't involve a ferry and is much further east. 

It is windy today though very mild. The rain comes and goes. Hope it picks up for tomorrow's jaunt.
