B picked this image for me before he left to shoot someone's 85th birthday. It is one of the stalls we frequent almost daily at the market. The vendors who mind the stall are not always the same person though. Fourteen years ago I would have asked her to pose for a portrait but these days I usually go for candids to avoid answering questions or possibly making promises during inevitable small talk.
