An exceptionally busy Wednesday.
Market Day followed by weekly coffee morning at the church. I don’t normally go as Wednesday is my busiest day, but we had heard that our MP would be there so I made a special effort! I am still trying to fight for the local buses and I wanted to bend her ear about it. I was in good company as J from the Parish Council was there too. One of the points I wanted to raise is that we are right on the edge of her constituency and there are no buses travelling from here to anywhere in her patch! I have written a few letters about this. But I digress…
After a quick lunch I was off to my art group. We had a very good turnout! And lots of chat. I left there and went straight to a meeting on the buses. This was mostly online but I didn’t have the correct app, so I went to the Library where the lady who organised the meeting had arranged to meet me. An eminently frustrating meeting! The same old platitudes. The council has made up its mind, so the best I can do is to keep reminding them that we are here, and won’t go away.i was very glad to get home!
