Finished my decorating jobs today. “Paid in sweeties?” Well, not really paid bearing in mind the work has been in our own home!

Did a bit of restorative joinery, painted a skirting and some random touching up in several places. Good to get everything packed away until next time (I’ve something else planned). It was a day in. Just as well, my wife was off colour.

The coins? I was putting away my cleaned painting outfit and there was a wee net bag containing a few We wish You A Merry Christmas chocolate coins in the drawer. “To me” I said. “To me.”
