Pavement Art

It was hard to photograph this brass plate set in the pavement in the street known as The Pallant, in Havant. I think it’s possible to make out the engravings representing different aspects of local history within it. I am trying to find out more about them. One obviously refers to the parchment industry which was so important in Havant over many centuries.

It’s been a grey wet day. I went to yoga this morning. This afternoon I popped into Havant to get a few sewing supplies.
