The downstairs cloakroom sink has been out of action for months because the side wall of the cabinet got damp due to it not being waterproof. I thought I was going to have to get a new side for it, but after ‘forgetting’ about it for ages, it’s consequently dried out. I nipped into B & Q for some adhesive and trim and stuck two rows of tiles down the cabinet side and wall. I’ve made it sound easy but it wasn’t fun working in a small space on a hard floor. My joints are not as supple as they used to be.
