Primula

I wanted something to add a bit of colour to some tubs and I liked the natural primrose colour of these for the purpose rather than the gaudy coloured ones so I bought some yesterday.

Today I freshened up a tub in the church doorway with some of these, replacing some flagging ones. The rest I will use in tubs on the lodge veranda.

I got unexpected pleasure when we went to the lodge this morning. Yesterday we went shopping for doormats and a runner but I had forgotten to take an offcut of the units with me for colour checking. Much to my surprise and delight when we unpacked the mats at the lodge, they went perfectly with the units, the floor and the pine walls.
