My long time favourite drink is red wine.
I have tried them all from high end to plonk in a box to home made and I really do know the good from the undrinkable.
That said my long term tried and trusted method of choosing a bottle is a function of alcohol content and purchase price. Basically the highest alcohol content for the lowest price puts the bottle in my basket. This bottle at 14% alcohol was a no brainer. It actually is very pleasant.
