The apple trees are laden this year, thanks to the wet spring and recently the hot sunshine. I was surprised to see, in a gap in the rain today, that some of my apples are developing a rosy blush. They're not big enough yet, but it won't be long before I'm dusting off my apple recipes. It'll make a pleasant change from courgette recipes...
