Whisky

Today's morning meeting was supposed to be at the Portrait gallery, and I was looking forward to seeing the refurbished cafe. The person I was meeting with couldn't do 10,00, though, so we went at 11.00, when it was mobbed. We moved the meeting along the street to the Whisky Society. 

Walked later on by the Warriston path to the Ferry Road path, as far as Crewe Toll, crossing the red bridge. Saw a grey wagtail beside the Ferry path.
Back by no 29 bus; Stockbridge was particularly slow because E Fettes Avenue is shut at the corner with Comely Bank Road. A few degrees milder and less wind made for more pleasant walking - 6C high.
